Our Team
Your trip will be led by a French and English-speaking UIMLA-certified mountain guide, specializing in the Tour du Mont Blanc. For groups of 4 to 12 participants, your guide will expertly lead you along their favorite trails through this breathtaking region. While your guide speaks fluent English, don't be surprised if they add a bit of French flair to the conversation!
Group Composition
Expect to share your adventure with English-speaking travelers from various nationalities, such as British, American, Australian, and more. This journey promises to be a truly multicultural experience!
Altitude Differences
The altitude gains and losses are calculated based on map data, not GPS, which can often overestimate by up to 20% due to technical limitations. We rely on map data to give you the most accurate information.
Insurance
We recommend that all participants obtain personal insurance that covers medical care and emergency evacuation as a minimum. You may also want to include coverage for lost or damaged personal belongings, flight cancellations, or trip interruptions. Feel free to ask us for advice.

Lodging
You’ll stay in 3 or 4-star hotels (or equivalent) with double or twin rooms and private bathrooms. Some hotels may require a vehicle transfer from the end of the hike due to their location in the valley or the surrounding terrain. After a day's hike, you’ll have the chance to explore nearby villages or relax by serene locations like Lake Champex. In Courmayeur, the town center offers a delightful shopping and dining experience.
Please note that single rooms are available on request and are subject to availability with an additional supplement. If you’re traveling as part of an odd-numbered group, a triple room will be arranged.
If you’d like to extend your stay or arrive earlier, we can arrange extra nights at our partner hotels upon request. Be sure to book in advance.
Meals
Our aim is to provide nutritious and well-balanced meals to fuel your hikes, while keeping your pack light.
- Dinners: In the hotels, dinner typically consists of a set three-course menu featuring a starter, main course, and dessert. In Courmayeur, you’ll dine at an authentic Italian restaurant for a delicious local culinary experience. The first dinner in Chamonix is not included, giving you the freedom to explore the town’s dining options.
- Breakfasts: A generous buffet awaits at the hotels, with options like pastries, fresh bread, homemade jams, fruits, cereals, as well as savory items such as cheeses, ham, and eggs.
- Lunches: Packed lunches will be provided by your guide or accommodation. These picnics are an essential part of the hiking day, offering healthy and balanced meals to restore your energy. Sharing local products during lunch adds a cultural experience to your hike, and your guide will ensure each meal is as diverse as possible, taking into account transport and storage limitations.
Our commitment:
- To use regional products sourced from local producers whenever possible
- To prioritize quality products, including some organic options
- To reduce packaging, especially plastic, and recycle any waste
If you have specific dietary requirements, please notify us ahead of time via your personal profile. During your trip, remind your guide of any dietary restrictions, as they will manage meal arrangements with the accommodation providers.
Drinks
Please note that drinks (excluding water) are not included. Be sure to settle any drink bills before leaving each location to avoid extra charges.
Luggage Transfer
Your luggage will be transferred by vehicle to your next accommodation each day. Simply leave your bag at the hotel reception before heading out on your hike. Please note that each bag should not exceed 15 kg.
Access
This trip begins and ends in Chamonix Mont-Blanc, with the closest airport being Geneva International Airport. The easiest way to reach Chamonix from Geneva is by airport transfer, which we can arrange for you upon request.
We have chosen not to include the Geneva to Chamonix transfer in the package, allowing you flexibility in your arrival and departure times. Transfers are available 24/7 to suit your schedule.
