Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Rio de Janeiro Hotel

Upon your arrival in Rio de Janeiro, a private transfer will take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the vibrant city or relax by the beach.

Day 2: Half-Day Corcovado Tour

Begin your day with a pick-up from your hotel, heading to the Cosme Velho neighborhood to board the cog train. The train will take you through the lush Tijuca Forest to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. From the top, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Rio, including landmarks like Sugarloaf Mountain, Guanabara Bay, the Southern Zone beaches, and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.

Day 3: Half-Day Sugarloaf Mountain Tour

Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel and a drive to the Urca neighborhood, home to the famous Sugarloaf Mountain. The tour takes place in two stages via cable car. First, you'll ascend to Urca Hill (705 feet), where you'll be treated to stunning views of Guanabara Bay, its islands, the Rio-Niterói bridge, and Corcovado Hill. From there, you'll board the second cable car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain (1,296 feet), offering spectacular views of Copacabana Beach, the Santa Cruz Fortress, and Niterói's beaches.

Day 5: Iguazú Falls Tour and Transfer to Buenos Aires

Full-Day Iguazú Falls (Argentine Side)
Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel and a drive to Iguazú National Park on the Argentine side. Explore the subtropical forest surrounding the falls, home to an array of wildlife including toucans, parrots, and coatis. Walk along the lower and upper walkways to get up close to the falls, experiencing them from multiple perspectives.

Day 10: Full-Day Sacred Valley Tour

Your tour of the Sacred Valley begins with a visit to Chinchero, a charming Andean town. Here, you will visit the PARWA Center, where you can admire beautiful textiles, learn about traditional weaving techniques, and perhaps purchase some to take home. Afterward, you’ll visit the town’s church, known for its unique and traditional decoration. Next, you’ll explore the Chinchero ruins, featuring ancient agricultural terraces from the Inca period.

The tour continues to the Raqchi viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the Sacred Valley. Here, you’ll learn about the significance of this area to the Inca civilization. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, the journey proceeds to Ollantaytambo, where you'll explore one of the most impressive Inca architectural sites and the location of a significant battle against the Spanish conquerors. You’ll also visit the town’s traditional market, where you can shop for local handicrafts.

Day 11: Full-Day Tour to Machu Picchu

The breathtaking landscapes make this journey the perfect introduction to your visit. Upon arrival, you'll board a bus for the ascent to the Machu Picchu ruins.

Once at the top, you'll embark on a guided tour of the ancient citadel, uncovering the history, architecture, and mysteries of this Incan wonder. The stunning surroundings provide plenty of opportunities for memorable photos. After exploring the site, you'll return to Aguas Calientes to catch the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel.
