Set off on this Epic 7 day trip through Costa Rica's must see locations. From jungle to beach you will get to explore the amazing wildlife rich park of Manuel Antonio National Park, before heading off to the cloud forest of Monteverde, ending in the adventure packed town of La Fortuna at the base of Arenal National Park.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in San José

Arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport, where a representative from FlashpackerConnect will greet you just outside the airport and arrange your transfer to a downtown hotel in San José.

Accommodation: Hotel Presidente – Standard Room (upgrades on request)
Overnight: San José
Drive: ~20 minutes

Day 2: San José to Arenal

After breakfast at the hotel, meet the car rental representative in the lobby at 9:00 AM to receive your rental car (Toyota Cross 4x2 Autom or similar).

Embark on a scenic drive to La Fortuna, home to the majestic Arenal Volcano, active since 1968. This region is a paradise for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers, featuring windsurfing opportunities on the world-renowned Arenal Lake, thrilling activities, and abundant wildlife.

Day 3: Arenal – Adventure and Relaxation

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the endless adventures that Arenal has to offer. Choose from a range of exciting activities, including:

Canyoning down thrilling waterfalls.

The car rental company will provide a complimentary shuttle transfer to the airport, ensuring a smooth transition for your departure. Take with you unforgettable memories of Costa Rica’s stunning landscapes, vibrant wildlife, and adventurous spirit.
